Is it against the code of conduct for a Dental Assistant to date a patient?

Is it against the code of conduct for the dental assistant to ask a patient on a date? My dentist has an assistant that has been getting close to me and having personal conversations when the dentist is away from the chair, would that go against any policies?

1. it prolly would, so i would jus talk to him outside of the job so there wouldnt be any problems
2. It could be, so the assistant should talk to the dentist. The assistant should be professional while on the job, even when you are their patient. Save the personal conversations for outside of the office (when the assistant is off the clock).
